Intelligence Analyst and former Senior Drill Instructor and Series Gunnery Sergeant at Parris Island, SC, GySgt Joseph Davila, USMC, spends time teaching and drilling Columbia River Young Marines on Wednesday evening April 9th. GySgt Davila is a long-time Young Marine supporter and has worked with numerous YM units at his various duty stations over the last several years. He had heard we were in town and were being lodged upstairs in the Naval Reserve Center and invited CRYM down to the drill deck following the dismissal of Montford Point Young Marines who held regular training that night.
Naval Reserve Training Center: GySgt Joe Davila shared his NCO sword with Columbia River Young Marines and showed several YMs how to hold it. OORAH GySgt Davila! You're the best!
